Oh, how I love this account of Thanksgiving from Amy, a blogger I have just discovered and started following.
Thanks to Google+, I found this great recipe for almond butter chicken in the slow cooker. And super that Patty has put in her replacements for the ingredients that she did not have.
Isn’t this festive scrapbook a lovely family tradition to have? I know I keep on posting things like this that I find and then completely failing actually to do them, but maybe, just maybe, this is one that could be manageable to keep going with.
A magazine that celebrates people for who they are and not what they look like – what a fantastic antidote to all the celeb gossip rags out there.
A beautifully written post about taking more time with your children and stopping the yelling (yes, I really need to try harder with this). (via Fit Bottomed Mamas)
Tiffany Han has some great tips on how to be the person that you really want to be, starting with committing to this in the New Year.

And speaking of the New Year, I am going to join in (largely) with this festive sabbatical and so I expect only to be posting little bits and pieces, as well as the weekly portraits of the boys, for the next few weeks. It feels good to step back for a while and take life as it comes.
So, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and I’ll see you in the New Year!
