It seems that getting a wordpress.org editorial calendar plugin to help me blog more meant that I did not blog at all… This wasn’t, of course, what I had intended.
But that thing called life got in the way: we celebrated O’s fourth birthday at the weekend and had family over from the UK, work has been hectic and chaotic and all those stressful words, and for the past couple of days, my blog has been acting up (I hope you’ve not noticed), and now that I have made the move to wordpress.org, it’s up to me to work these things out. And none of this tiredness is helped by E waking in the early hours of Tuesday morning with a bad cough and then keeping me awake from 3.40am.
So, yes, I’m feeling a little sorry for myself and a little guilty that all my good intentions to use the editorial calendar have fallen by the wayside. I’ve not managed much more than a weekly portrait post and I really missed putting together my weekly “This and that” post.
But I slept better last night and am getting fired up and excited about the rest of this week, which mainly involves preparations for the birthday party we holding for O* this weekend. We’re going with a superhero theme.
I’m enjoying putting together the party theme and cannot wait to show you the final results (superhero artwork from this etsy shop). But now I need to get back to planning and sticking and baking and all the rest.

- As O has turned four, I don’t think I can keep on calling him Little O and I certainly shouldn’t be using Baby E for E as he is almost two-and-a-half now.
